Cornish Nanny, rosmary and honey parcel recipe

Serves 2 


 4 Filo sheets 

 125g Cornish Nanny 

 20g Walnuts (crushed)

 1/2  tspb Honey 

 Small handful fresh rosemary

 40g Butter 

 Sesame seeds (optional) 

 Kitchen brush for filo 


  1. Preheat the oven to gas 4/180°C. In a bowl, combine the Cornish Nanny, walnuts, honey and rosemary. Melt the butter in the microwave. Place 1 sheet of filo pastry on a flat surface and brush with the melted butter. Place a second pastry sheet on top. 
  2. Heap half of the cheese mixture into the middle of the filo sheet. Fold the filo from the bottom to the top to cover the filling. Brush with more butter and fold the sides inwards. Flip the filo upwards so it forms a square parcel. Repeat the process with the other two filo sheets. 
  3. Place the finished filo parcels on a lined baking tray. Brush the tops with more butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds to provide some texture. 
  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden and crisp.
