Compare the tastes and it is hard to believe that nettled Cornish Yarg and Wild Garlic Yarg are made to an identical recipe. The difference comes at the point we paint on the leaves. The striking contrast in taste and texture is entirely down to nature. The aromatic wild garlic from Cornish woodlands each spring, selecting every one by hand.

Lynher Dairies team of nettlers wrap the leaves around the bare truckle in a ribbon pattern. Six weeks later, the wild garlic has created a slightly firmer texture than the nettles. They darken in colour and impart a gentle garlicky flavour so we like to say Wild Garlic Yarg whispers rather than shouts its name.

Because our cheese is handmade in small batches, we ship orders on specific days each week.

To receive your order the same week, please place it before midday on Tuesday. Orders placed after this time will be shipped the following week.

You can select your preferred delivery day at checkout, and we’ll dispatch your cheese to arrive on that date.

All of our cheese parcels are cooled with re-usable ice packs and insulated with recyclable packaging.

All orders are sent using DPD’s tracked delivery service. Once your cheese has been dispatched, DPD will send you tracking details so you can follow your delivery.

We highly recommend downloading the DPD app, which allows you to track your parcel, provide safe place instructions, nominate a neighbour to receive your delivery, or reschedule your delivery time slot.

I love Yarg, well I love Garlic Yarg even more.
My delivery was really well packaged and cool blocks were still frozen on arrival so cheese at a great safe temperature.
This cheese freezes really well too.

I love Yarg, and now I really love Garlic Yarg. It gives that extra dimension of flavour in just the right balance. Looks fabulous too, a great Cornish product yet again.

The cheeses were all gorgeous. We are big fans of Yarg and the Cornish Gouda and the cheese we received were as good as if we’d bought them locally in Cornwall. These were really well packed and Arrived in perfect condition. So pleased to have been able to have them delivered hundreds of miles away for a wedding weekend. Will definitely buy from here again.

Just Lovely

Purchased for a garden luncheon, the cheeses selected were so presentable and went down a treat. Luckily.
Any negatives? Yes. The delivery. I was explicit, ‘leave it in a safe place’. When I got home, there was a box in front of my door, in the sun, with a label facing the street stating exactly what was in the box….
Without the ability to go and colleect my purchase, I am not certin that I would make another purchase.
