The leaves, which attract naturally occurring moulds, are brushed onto the cheese in concentric circles. As the cheese matures, the edible wrap imparts a delicate, mushroomy taste and develops its unique bloomy white appearance.
Once matured, nettled Yarg is fresh, lemony and creamy under its beautiful rind, with an irresistible crumble in the core.

Storage & Serving
Keep well wrapped in the fridge but we do recommend removing cheese from the fridge and any wrapping to allow the cheese the ‘breath’ for an hour or two before serving which will allow the full flavour and character of the cheese to come through!

My favourite cheese
Great taste, very popular with all the family.
This is lovely cheese and we still enjoying it. The only improvement would be a local delivery rate, as I only live a short way away and yet pay the same as national delivery.
As always the delicious flavour of the Cornish Yarg was appreciated by all.
