Cornish Nanny

Cornish Nanny is a blue goats cheese which is an addition of our very own Cornish Blue and is designed to be eaten as a young cheese. It's a very creamy blue cheese with a nutty after taste to create a complex flavour profile in the mouth.

Storage & Serving

Keep well wrapped in the fridge but we do recommend removing cheese from the fridge and any wrapping to allow the cheese the ‘breath’ for an hour or two before serving which will allow the full flavour and character of the cheese to come through!

Huge hit

I brought some of the Nanny and Cornish blue for my wedding, it was a huge hit with all my guests...especially the French who loved trying some English specialists!

Very disappointed. I expected a creamy cheese, similar to a stilton but it was hard and it was quire dry.
I will not be buying it again

Too much is not enough

I ordered a whole kg. Didn't realise how much that was. It lasts well in the fridge, except we keep eating it. It's quite delicious. Up against a Stilton, a good Bleu des Causses, and the always excellent Cornish Blue, the Nanny more than holds its own. It's different, and has a unique character of creaminess and a perfectly understated "tanginess" balance. I ordered too much - but, actually, I didn't. Thanks, people and goats.
