Large Cornish Cheeseboard

An unusual 60th wedding anniversary gift some may say, but why not! The lucky couple both adore cheese, as do their family (with whom they shared it with). They were, to say the least, surprised when their cheeseboard was delivered. Packaging was perfect, cheese was absolutely fine and ice block intact, ensuring that the contents were 100% perfect.
I use the word perfect because it fits - yet again another perfect order delivered with care....thank you, until the next time!

I ordered the cheese board for a birthday present and had to choose a delivery date. I chose the persons actual birthday for delivery and paid accordingly. The item was not delivered until the day after the birthday and there was no communication about this. I did complain but received what I believe was not a very sincere apology and was given the excuse ‘occasionally items are delayed’ .
I understand parcels can sometimes be delayed but this should have at least been communicated on the day, these items should have been refrigerated, I wouldn’t want to pay over £40 for some cheese that’s been in a van for 48hrs…. some form of compensation such as refunding the delivery costs may have been a more appropriate response.

Cheese was a present and well received. Courier was too fast - recepient was in but the courier failed to knock, despite being seen, they rushed away without leaving item.
