Storage

Keep well wrapped in the fridge but we do recommend removing cheese from the fridge and any wrapping to allow the cheese the ‘breath’ for an hour or two before serving which will allow the full flavour and character of the cheese to come through!

Disappointed

Thankfully I bought this cheese just because I liked the pot and is was in the reduced section in Tesco.

I found the thick wax was really difficult to dig out. I ended up pouring boiling water on it!

Once I managed to get to the cheese I was really disappointed with the taste.

Glad I didn't pay full price, still an expensive little pot though!

Spent ten mins trying to chisel through the wax to get through to cheese that is now tainted with broken wax. Avoid.

Wax issues

I couldn't actually get through the thick hard wax. I tried everything. My husband took over and eventually got to the cheese. The cheese is delicious however. I bought one for my mum and we took the wax off before we gave it to her!

Dissapointing

This was given to me as a Christmas gift and what a disappointment. The wax top was about an inch thick and very difficult to remove. Also there was a wax coating all around the inside of the jar. Once removed I was conscience of having wax mixed up with the cheese. The cheese tasted of soap and there was no blue veining which I had expected to see. All in all a complete waste of money and I will not be repeating the experience. I should be asking for a refund.
