10 Delicious Ways to Enjoy Cornish Brie 🧀

10 Delicious Ways to Enjoy Cornish Brie 🧀 - The Cornish Cheese Co

A whole kilo of creamy Cornish Brie might look like a lot of cheese but once you know what to do with it, you might find it disappears rather quickly.

Here are 10 delicious ways to put your 1kg Brie to good use.

1. Bake it whole

Score the top, add garlic, rosemary and a drizzle of honey, then bake until gloriously gooey. Add crusty bread and get dipping.

2. Make the ultimate Brie toastie

Thick sourdough. Generous slices of Brie. A spoonful of sweet chilli jam. Toast until golden and molten. Lunch = sorted.

3. Try Cornish Brie stuffed chicken breast

Stuff a chicken breast with creamy Cornish Brie and cranberry chutney, wrap in bacon and bake until golden. An easy way to make dinner a little more indulgent. View the recipe here .

4. Make Brie & cranberry parcels

Wrap chunks of Brie and cranberry sauce in puff pastry and bake until golden. Brilliant for parties, or keeping entirely to yourself.

5. Add it to your pizza

Slice the Brie and arrange it over a pizza with caramelised onion, mushrooms or prosciutto before baking. Finish with rocket and a drizzle of honey.

6. Bake a Brie & caramelised red onion tart

Layer caramelised onions, cranberry sauce and plenty of Cornish Brie over golden puff pastry. Bake until bubbling and golden. Just as good warm as it is cold. View the recipe here .

7. Build a proper cheeseboard

Let the Brie come to room temperature and serve simply with crackers, grapes, apple, nuts and your favourite chutney.

8. Make ridiculously creamy mac & cheese

Stir chunks of Brie into your cheese sauce for an extra creamy, indulgent mac & cheese.

9. Brie, pear & honey crostini

Toast slices of baguette, top with Brie and pear, then finish with honey and cracked black pepper. Simple. Very good.

10. Share it

Probably the most radical suggestion on this list. Invite some friends over, open something nice to drink, put the Brie in the middle of the table and see how long that 1kg really lasts.
