Description

Designed to be eaten as a young cheese, Cornish Blue is a very different product from traditional English blue cheeses. Its flavour is mild and creamy, with a dense texture and buttery richness, instead of the ‘salty tang’ common of other traditional blue cheeses it has a gentle sweetness.

Recently crowned Champion Cheese at the 2026 Royal Cheshire Show.

Storage & Shelf Life

Guaranteed to last up to 3 weeks when stored correctly in the fridge.

Keep well wrapped in the fridge but we do recommend removing cheese from the fridge and any wrapping to allow the cheese the ‘breath’ for an hour or two before serving which will allow the full flavour and character of the cheese to come through!

Because our cheese is handmade in small batches, we ship orders on specific days each week.

To receive your order the same week, please place it before midday on Tuesday. Orders placed after this time will be shipped the following week.

You can select your preferred delivery day at checkout, and we’ll dispatch your cheese to arrive on that date.

All of our cheese parcels are cooled with re-usable ice packs and insulated with recyclable packaging.

All orders are sent using DPD’s tracked delivery service. Once your cheese has been dispatched, DPD will send you tracking details so you can follow your delivery.

We highly recommend downloading the DPD app, which allows you to track your parcel, provide safe place instructions, nominate a neighbour to receive your delivery, or reschedule your delivery time slot.

Cornish Blue was the very first cheese we created. Once
Philip decided to diversify into cheesemaking he noticed there wasn't a blue cheese in the UK that fitted the flavour profile for those that found traditional English blue cheeses such as Stilton too strong and saw a perfect opportunity to introduce a much smoother creamier alternative.

Great flavour and colour

Great flavour and colour. I've had this cheese previously and the taste is brilliant. Goes well with grapes apples and cold meats.

Subtle and splendid

The cheeses arrived beautifully packed and and in perfect condition. Never tried Cornish Blue before and I loved it! I enjoy blue cheese but it can be a little overpowering. Your Cornish Blue is gentler and less salty yet still retains the characteristics and taste of a blue cheese - just more subtle. I shall be looking out for more. The Cornish Brie as ever is perfect and disappears far too quickly for the good of my waistline! Many thanks, Anne A.

My favourite blue cheese

Delivered on time and the blue is as delicious as always. Order this every Christmas and any left over is used in soups and pasta dishes. Really versatile cheese that also freezes well when grated.

Wonderful….But!

Wonderful - Cheese is fabulous, much enjoyed by many.
But - Not delivered on promised day! Late on promised day I had to ask about timings to be told of delay - not even picked! Second delivery, late on Christmas Eve, achieved, thank you. The negative is you didn’t keep me informed as to delay, I had to ask - not good customer service for the sake of a call or email.

Wonderful Cornish Cheese-nothing like it, creamy and rich. Delivered on the day it was promised. All round first class

A small hickup with delivery, but it was sorted easily without too much delay and the Cornish Blue is as tasty as ever. Always excellent!

Had Cornish blue from the Cheshire show in June, Just had to buy some more. Probably the best blur cheese I’ve had lovely and creamy on crackers or digestive biscuits.
